Hope in Action

At Missions of Hope, everything begins with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We partner with pastors, churches, and ministry leaders throughout Brazil to share the hope of Christ while caring for the practical needs of children, families, and communities. Whether we are helping provide food for a family, encouraging a pastor, supporting a local church, or praying with someone in their home, our desire is the same: to demonstrate the love of Jesus and help strengthen the people God has called to serve their communities.

Sharing the Gospel

We work alongside Brazilian pastors and churches to share the message of Jesus Christ in communities where people need both spiritual hope and compassionate care. Through preaching, personal evangelism, prayer, church services, and community ministry, we help local believers carry the Gospel beyond the walls of the church.

Feeding Children & Families

We love hosting short-term missions teams! We even built an on-campus dormitory complex to accommodate them! These teams have a variety of focuses; from medical to teaching English to construction. Like all we do here, these teams’ primary goal is the Gospel!

Supporting Pastors & Ministry Leaders

We come alongside pastors and ministry leaders with prayer, encouragement, ministry resources, financial assistance, teaching, and practical support. By investing in those God has already called to serve, we help strengthen ministries capable of making a lasting spiritual impact.

Strengthening Local Churches

Missions of Hope partners with churches in Brazil to help them preach the Gospel, disciple believers, develop leaders, serve families, and reach their neighbors. Over the years, this has included preaching and teaching, providing ministry resources, supporting church construction, and helping establish churches in underserved communities.

Caring for Children & Families

We visit families, pray with parents and children, provide food and clothing when possible, and support ministries caring for children in vulnerable communities. The ministry's work in São Paulo has included visiting children and their families, praying in their communities, supporting children's programs, providing food, and helping make special occasions meaningful for children.

Meeting Practical Needs

Throughout the ministry's history in Brazil, Missions of Hope has helped provide food, clothing, clean-water filters, Bibles, ministry materials, church resources, and other practical assistance to people and ministries in need. The original Brazil ministry plan also describes helping families in drought-affected areas with food and seeds for planting.
